NAAME Speaker’s Bureau

NAAME’s Speakers Board is a service we provide on behalf of other socially conscious filmmakers, musicians, authors, and other media makers to book speaking engagements, workshops and trainings at universities and community centers in the Northwest and West Coast. We can book one off events or short tours in multiple cities.

We do the grunt work of contacting institutions, corresponding with hosts and depending on the circumstance can provide transportation to the events. In exchange we keep a percentage of the total money raised. If you are a socially conscious media maker who is interested in putting together a tour, or are a student or community group who would like to bring someone out to the West Coast, contact us and we can discuss what might be possible.

Recent events organized through the Speakers Bureau:
Screenings of Reed Lindsey’s film Charlie vs Goliath about a progressive candidate running for Senate.
A four city tour for the subMedia.tv anarchist video collective.
Community workshops for the Outside the Frame video non-profit serving homeless youth.
Keys Beats Bars popular education series featuring discussions about youth incarceration and the power of arts.

Media Tools for Social Change- Multimedia presentation aimed at making media for social change.
