Tim Rice, NAAME President
President of NAAME since 2014, Tim has over 10 years experience with community organizing in Portland working with organizations such as Portland Central America Solidarity Committee, Liberty Hall, Oregon Fair Trade Campaign and more. Since 2010 he has been a videographer with the social justice video group B Media Collective.
adam carpinelli, NAAME Treasurer
Carpinelli is a multi-instrumentalist activist scholar. He’s been a co-organizer for the last two Cascade Media Convergence’s. He’s a radio personality and volunteer with KBOO Community Radio and has worked on projects with the Bmedia Collective. Focusing on mass incarceration he’s the National Secretary for The Jericho Movement, and has worked with the International Leonard Peltier Defense Committee, IWW’s Incarcerated Worker Organizing Committee, September 9th Coalition. Musically he’s a collective member of RLM Entertainment and the educational coordinator for the Obo Addy Legacy Project. Carpinelli played guitar, performed and recorded for the late master drummer Obo Addy from Ghana, and continues to produce the Portland based World Beat band Wamba, fusion band Ubuntu Project and is currently producing his first solo album “Shiver” to be prospectively released in 2017.
